He is a distinguished expert in petroleum refining catalyst and process field. After graduating from Peking University, he was assigned to work in the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP), where he served as group leader, director of research department, deputy chief engineer in 1987 and vice-president in 1988. From 1991 to 2003 he was president of the RIPP, and in 2004 he was elected the chairman of the RIPP’s Academic Committee. |
